光荣公司的子公司KOEI NET于25日召开发表会宣布，KOEI NET将于5月下旬开始进行游戏软件的出租事业“RentaNet”。凡是赞同KOEI NET游戏出租事业的游戏厂商的游戏软件都可以通过KOEI NET进行出租。但本次的发表会上并没有指出具体的赞同厂商名和厂商数，而只是说明为“多数厂商”。
