日本夏普公司一直以“诚意和创意”作为自己的企业文化的核心理念。但是，可惜的是中国消费者却没有能感受到夏普公司“诚意和创意”的温暖。对于国内消费者感受最多的恐怕还是夏普的英文名称“sharp”的一种名词词性解释，那就是口语中的“骗子”（n.[C]【口】）“the sharp is a sharp sharp”，应该翻译成“夏普是一个狡猾的骗子”，当然这句话也可以翻译成“夏普是一个聪明的专家”。
